GREATER GEORGIA ANNOUNCES
2023 CANDIDATE RECRUITMENT PROGRAM
(ATLANTA) – Today, Greater Georgia announced its first-ever candidate recruitment program ahead of the November 2023 municipal election. The program will focus on identifying and recruiting a class of qualified conservatives to run for local office in cities across the state, as well as equipping candidates with the resources and training to run winning campaigns. Georgia's 2023 municipal election will be held Tuesday, November 7th. The candidate qualifying period begins Monday, August 21st.
"In Georgia and across the country, the Left is organizing to take control of cities and counties by recruiting candidates to carry out a dangerous progressive agenda that fundamentally upends public safety, education, and our way of life at the local level," said Greater Georgia Chairwoman and former U.S. Senator Kelly Loeffler. "This year, Greater Georgia is going on offense with a program designed to recruit top-tier candidates and empower them with the tools to run and win. By building a strong bench, we'll be better prepared to take back our communities - and deliver strong conservative leadership where it matters most."
Greater Georgia will focus on recruiting a class of conservatives to run in open and toss-up seats in cities across the state, for positions including mayor and city council.
