Kaepernick Leads Team Marx against DeSantis, Gets Sacked

In partnership with two of the most influential Marxists in America, Colin Kaepernick has just published a book intended as a refutation of Governor Ron DeSantis’s January 2023 decision to reject the College Board’s pilot program in AP African-American studies (APAAS). Kaepernick’s Our History Has Always Been Contraband: In Defense of Black Studies includes essays attacking how DeSantis, Trump, Christopher Rufo, I, and other conservatives treat U.S. history. The book also offers a collection of radical readings that Kaepernick would like the College Board to add to the APAAS curriculum — or would like to see students read on their own.

In The Daily Wire, Noelle Mering writes about a new bill in the California State Legislature which would "effectively institutionalizes a prohibition against orthodox Christians as well as other religious believers."

For Our Sunday Visitor, Mary FioRito writes about the Supreme Court's ruling in 303 Creative in favor of religious liberty.

Last week, EPPC scholars Eric Kniffin and Natalie Dodson met with federal government officials to discuss abortion concerns in the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act Regulations by Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Also last week, the Ethics and Public Policy Center filed two amicus briefs asking the Supreme Court to review Ninth Circuit decisions against pro-life activist David Daleiden for his undercover investigation that exposed suspected criminal activity by some of the country’s largest abortion providers.
