This session, the Supreme Court…

* Ruled to block student debt relief for 43 million Americans.
* Ruled that businesses can discriminate against LGBTQIA+ folks on the
basis of a *hypothetical* case.
* Enshrined racial inequity in higher education and economic immobility
into law by ending affirmative action for Black, brown, and indigenous
folks while doing nothing about legacy admissions for the wealthy
children of celebrities and GOP mega-donors.
* And weakened the Clean Water Act protections.

The cruelty is the point.

The Supreme Court won't hold itself accountable so Summer is fighting to

These same Supreme Court justices that are selling us out and stripping
away our freedoms are the judges with lifetime appointments and no code of
ethics.

It's no wonder we have a current lack of trust in our judicial system when
Supreme Court Justices including Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito are
accepting lavish gifts and trips without reporting them. And the same
billionaires that are influencing our Supreme Court are influencing our
elections:

Paul Singer, a hedge fund billionaire who took Justice Alito on a luxury
fishing trip, gave AIPAC $1 million just a few days before our primary
last May — funds that undoubtedly helped AIPAC spend millions of dollars
attacking Summer.

Summer is taking action to reform our corrupt court, but taking a position
like this puts her directly in line for Republican attacks.
