Hey, friends,
We really try not to send too many emails, but this one is on my heart and urgent.
First...
Last night I went to the Tarrant County meeting with Massey Campos of Self-Evident Ministries. Massey has been speaking to us every summer for years, and every time he comes I tell people, "DO NOT MISS THIS MEETING." We don't repeat many of our speakers, but Massey we absolutely do. And last night he did not disappoint.
When I greeted him, he gave me a big hug and said, "Tonight I'm bringing hope." Nailed it! He explained, "I feel like when I come to True Texas Project, I'm preaching to the choir. What can I share you don't already know? So I'm bringing hope."
And boy did he. Standing ovation. I feel like his talk should be required listening for every activist. If you missed it, you still have a chance to hear him in Rockwall/Kaufman tonight (Tuesday) and in Dallas on Thursday. I will be at the Dallas meeting and will try to livestream it from our True Texas Project Facebook page starting around 6:45pm.
Second...
Here's a heads up about our Lubbock meeting. Our regular meeting place cancelled us after they received threatening calls from the loony Left. We secured a new venue, who cancelled us in less than an hour. We are currently working on a new venue so stay tuned. I assure you, this is not our first rodeo. Our speaker is talking about how to get dirty books out of kids' libraries, and the Left is desperate to continue to defile and groom children. This only means we must fight harder, even if that means we meet in a parking lot!
Please confirm the Lubbock location by checking our website before heading out on Thursday night!
Stay in the fight, folks. There IS hope, but it's still a fight. For Texas, Julie McCarty, CEO
