Jack, we've been keeping you informed about the financial hard times Daily Kos has fallen on this year, but you've also seen us continue to ask you to support Democratic candidates for office around the country. It's more than reasonable if you're wondering why—but the answer is a really simple one: We haven't lost sight of our mission.
And that mission, for two decades, has been remarkably straightforward: elect more and better Democrats.
Can you support our mission by donating $1 to each of Daily Kos' endorsed candidates?

Daily Kos has been identifying worthy candidates ever since early 2004, when we helped flip a Republican House seat in a special election in, of all places, Kentucky. That win was only possible, though, because you put your trust in our judgment and decided to part with your hard-earned dollars to boost a Democrat to victory.
It's been the same with every endorsement we've issued. They haven't all been winners, but what would be the point in padding our record? Daily Kos has always sought to elevate candidates who might otherwise get overlooked, and that means taking on some difficult challenges.
Still, you've kept your faith in us, and you understand that we're playing a very long game. The best example I can think of is Jon Ossoff. When he first ran for the House in 2017, the Daily Kos community responded thunderously. Yet though the race was very close, the traditional media haughtily wrote off all our efforts as useless.
Those lazy reporters and pundits could not have been more wrong: Not only did we flip that same seat the following year, we also have a term for someone like Ossoff: United States senator. And all of that happened because of you.
I could write a long email about the enormous positive consequences of winning back the Senate (and maybe soon I will!)—something Ossoff's victory made possible. But the bottom line is, that's the kind of progress Daily Kos is all about. If we were to raise money only for ourselves, we'd quickly become isolated from the world we're trying to change. A Daily Kos that doesn't do everything it can to elect more and better Democrats isn't Daily Kos anymore.
So, naturally, I'm going to ask you to contribute to our roster of endorsed races. We've carefully vetted every single candidate and contest on there, and all of them merit your support. If you want to help Daily Kos fulfill its mission, this is where you start.
