Check the Spam Folder

It has been discovered that in the past week many of the emails sent by Conference staff (with an email address of @moumethodist.org) have gone directly to spam/junk mail folders. Check these folders, especially if you were expecting an email from anyone on Conference or District Staff. The IT contractor is working to correct the problem.

Letters to My Daughters

Letters to My Daughters is a virtual monthly study companion from the United Methodist General Board of Church and Society that will examine the intersection of faith and advocacy as it relates to the social conditions of women and girls. This study is intended to serve as a guide for people of faith looking to integrate their prayer with their public witness. During this inaugural season, the group will discuss the current maternal mortality crisis and how the faith community can advocate for passage of the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act. Letters To My Daughters will explore the spiritual, theological, and social components of what it means for people of faith to pursue gender justice. This study is open to everyone. You may participate individually or as a group. The deadline to register is August 4. Click / tap here to register and learn more about the program.
The first session begins at 6 p.m. on Monday, August 7 via Zoom. or questions, please contact [email protected].
