Tomorrow I'll be playing in the 15th Annual Congressional Women's Softball Game, john!

The Congressional softball game is a great chance to connect with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle while supporting a great cause.

This game, and all the 7 am practices leading up to it, is one of my favorite parts of serving in Congress. I've been bringing my glove home every weekend to practice with Sam and David, and got a little extra help this year from “Coach Andy,” who has coached girls softball for decades! I’m looking to make them all proud tomorrow.

Our bipartisan team will play against the DC Press Corps to fundraise for the Young Survival Coalition . This important charity offers resources, connections and outreach to young women diagnosed with breast cancer.

This year, I’m playing as a tribute to my dear friend Tracy Dobmeier who remains cancer free to this day after a 2017 breast cancer diagnosis.

Since 2009, the Congressional Women’s Softball Game has raised more than $3.1M to support the Young Survival Coalition! To support the Young Survival Coalition, visit their website and make a contribution here: [link removed]

Thank you, and let's beat the press tomorrow!

Kim

To win back the House majority, we must re-elect Rep. Kim Schrier in WA-08. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and reclaim the House majority in 2024?
