** This new tool comes at a time when the impacts of climate change on Maine, the nation, and the world are increasing. Just recently, data from the University of Maine found the world perhaps experienced the hottest 7-day period in recorded history earlier this month ([link removed]) .
This dashboard is the product of a partnership between the Governor's Office of Policy Innovation and the Future and the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention. We hope this tool is hepful for policymakers, scientists, state and municipal staff and officials and community members to better understand the impacts of a changing climate and take action to address them.
