Designated Religious Persons

A highlight of the Annual Conference Session is always the celebration of ministry service. This year three deacons were ordained, eight elders were ordained, an associate member was received, and nine provisional members were commissioned as provisional members. Bishop Leonard Fairley of the Louisville Episcopal Area of The United Methodist Church brought the message for the service. He said that God is still in the business of calling people into ministry. The Office of Finance and Administration works to assist local churches in their stewardship and generosity ministries.
