Over the weekend, our friend Bri Buentello sent out an email talking about Lauren Boebert’s incompetence – and the fact that she brought Donald Trump Jr., of all people, to Colorado to headline a fundraiser for her this weekend.
As Chair of the Pueblo County Democrats and a former state representative who won an impossibly tough race, Bri knows the issues facing Western and Southern Colorado – and Boebert isn’t cutting it.
Since winning in 2022, Boebert has consistently proven she’s someone more interested in making headlines in Washington and catering to the extremist MAGA base than actually working for the constituents who elected her.

It’s Bri Buentello here, former Colorado state representative and Chairwoman of the Pueblo County Democrats.
Since winning in 2022 by just 546 votes, Lauren Boebert promised to 'turn down the rhetoric' and get to work – and yet she hasn’t hosted a single town hall in Pueblo, rarely shows up in the district and even misses votes in Congress.
But, to be fair, we always knew who she was – she's more interested in tweeting than showing up to work for Steel City and for the rest of CO-03.
That’s why it’s no surprise that Boebert’s bringing Donald Trump Jr. to Colorado to headline a fundraiser for her tonight.
Pueblo knows when we're being hustled, and the truth is that she'd rather spend more time spouting nonsense on Fox News and partying at Mar-a-Lago than delivering for working Coloradans.
