These programs have helped so many stay healthy and have lifted millions out of poverty. Nearly 1.7 million New Jerseyans are covered by Medicare and over 2 million are enrolled in Medicaid.

But that hasn’t stopped Washington Republicans from threatening to gut Medicare and Medicaid time and again.

I’ve fought back every time. I’ve worked to protect Medicare and Medicaid from GOP cuts and improve the programs by lowering prescription costs, expanding telehealth services, and ensuring coverage for pre-existing conditions.

I’ll always fight for New Jersey priorities, including better access to health care and lower costs, and I’ll always fight back when others threaten New Jerseyans’ health and well-being.

For their 58th anniversary, I want to gather 5,800 signatures in support of protecting Medicare and Medicaid. Will you add your name?
