John — instead of sending resources to communities and families that need them, instead of giving our state employees a much-needed raise, instead of doing anything to move our state forward, Republicans are using our budget process to slash funding for public schools.

They’d rather give a tax break to their wealthy and powerful donor base than invest in our state’s future. Schools are already having to decide where to make cuts in the event that the GOP gets their way.
