Legislative Update
Dear Neighbor,
I hope you are having a good summer and enjoyed the recent Independence Day festivities. It has been great to see so many people out and about in our local communities and I continue receiving numerous questions regarding exactly what transpired in the recently concluded 2023 session.
With that in mind, I'm joining Sen. Eric Lucero and Rep. Paul Novotny to co-host a pair of town hall meetings this week, Thursday evening in Elk River and Saturday morning in St. Michael. Below are complete detail.
These meetings will provide opportunities for us to discuss top issues in our state. We can address everything from why the Democrat trifecta raised taxes despite a $17.5 billion surplus and failed to get serious about cracking down on violent crime, to what's on tap for 2024 and more.
I look forward to hearing from area residents during these town halls and the information we legislators receive will help us continue doing our best to represent the people we serve. It is not necessary to RSVP for these events and I hope to see you there!
