If you?re looking for a family activity tomorrow, consider joining us for our Shakopee Family Day at the State Capitol!

Minnesota is home to one of the most beautiful state capitol buildings in the nation, and the recent, extensive renovations have made the people?s house a must-see for those who haven?t visited in the last few years. We had a great time during a similar event in 2019, and I hope Shakopee?s families can join us again for a fun, educational day.

We?ll get started at 2pm in the Capitol Rotunda. I hope to see you there!

The tour will be conducted by the Minnesota Historical Society, and the day will include stops at the Governor and Attorney General?s offices, as well as access to the House floor?

*Saturday?s Coffee Hour*

For an event right here in Shakopee, I?m holding my second ?Coffee Hour [ [link removed] ]? of the summer on Saturday, July 15. I?ll be at Shakopee Brewhall starting at 9am, and hanging out and answering questions until 10:30am.

Both of this week?s events are free and open to everyone. We accomplished a lot for Shakopee this year at the Minnesota Legislature, and these events are great opportunities to ask questions, give feedback, and help our work be even better next year.?
