[[link removed]]URGENT ACTION NEEDED: Tell President Biden to protect the Grand Canyon region
from uranium mining!

The Grand Canyon is an icon of American natural landscapes. Its red rock walls
and stunning expanse attract tourists from around the world.

The surrounding public lands are also home to historical and cultural relics --
from ancient settlements and camps to rock carvings that are more than 10,000 years old!

But the 1.1 MILLION acres surrounding the Grand Canyon are unprotected. Greedy companies are mining for URANIUM, and it’s already contaminated ground and surface water in the region -- including drinking water! This iconic region will continue to be DESTROYED unless President Biden
protects it by recognizing the proposed Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni Grand Canyon
national monument.

Please, Friend, will you help STOP uranium mining around
the Grand Canyon? Add your name by 11:59pm TONIGHT!

habitats.

Tribes have been urging President Biden to permanently protect the land, water,
cultural sites, and wildlife. Every second that passes, more companies are mining uranium from precious
lands. If just 1 of every 13 people reading this email takes action, we can push
President Biden to declare the Baaj Nwaavjo I’tah Kukveni Grand Canyon national
monument. You could be the difference!
