What's Going on at Alliance For Children   CAMP BLUE RECAP Summer 2023  A very special thanks to all who made our Summer session of Camp BLUE memorable for all of our kids! 32 kids joined us for a week of fun with field trips to places like Fossil Rim, Pinstack, and Medieval Times, and had special visits from Mansfield Area Tennis Association, and our own Fort Worth Police & Fire Departments. We celebrated the end of Camp with special treats from Park Place Motorcars Fort Worth and Nothing Bundt Cakes - Arlington! It was a week to remember! Arm Yourself with Knowledge Our Child Abuse Prevention 101 is the perfect class for professionals who work with children of all ages. In this class you'll learn the signs of different types of abuse children might experience, how to handle a disclosure of abuse, and how to properly make a report. Additionally, tips are provided to focus on prevention of abuse within professional agencies. Upon registration, participants will receive an email with a Zoom link and all necessary instructions to participate. Course credit for those seeking CEUs can be provided upon request. When a child comes to one of our centers, they have the chance to bring a book home with them that they might have found that day. As some of our families identify as Spanish speaking, we could use some help stocking our libraries with books written in Spanish, so everyone has a chance to enjoy the simplicity of getting lost in a good story. Shop Here Arlington Construction Update It's almost time for us move our staff and partners to our new 24,000 square foot expansion at our Arlington Center! Finishing touches are underway and we are excited to begin work on our original center to outfit it for all things counseling. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks!
