Students, job seekers, communities, and policymakers all need access to data to make decisions about navigating journeys through education and the workforce.
On Tuesday, July 18th, the Data Quality Campaign and Results for America will share state and community efforts to develop and use statewide longitudinal data systems (SLDSs) to help policymakers and the public make informed decisions about education and workforce pathways.
State and community panelists will discuss their experiences with data systems, specifically focused on equitable access to information that can improve outcomes. Panelists will discuss the current difficulties they face as they seek to modernize SLDSs, and how Congress, federal agencies, and other partners can support their data access needs.
Confirmed Panelists include:
- Mayor G.T. Bynum, Tulsa, OK
- Emily Calderón Galdeano, Chief Impact and Strategy Officer, UP Partnership
- Russell Booker, Ph.D., CEO, Spartanburg Academic Movement
