On the very last day of Pride Month, the Supreme Court decided to further discrimination against the LGBTQ+ community.

John, it's outrageous. The conservative super majority on the Supreme Court ruled in favor of a Colorado web designer, who argued in a purely hypothetical case that she has the right to refuse to design same-sex wedding websites due to her first amendment rights. This is despite a Colorado state law that bars businesses from discriminating against LGBTQ+ Americans.

The ruling is a devastating setback to LGBTQ+ rights and protections.

In 2023, businesses and individuals should not be handed a license to discriminate against others. I will not back down against these hateful extremists. Stand with me and sign my petition to fight back against this attack→ [[link removed]]Sign On [[link removed]]

As a doctor, and as a parent, it angers me that the Supreme Court is permitting people and businesses to deny access to services or goods due to who we are or who we love.

The mental health impact of decisions like these on LGBTQ+ youth is massive—they’re more likely to have suicidal thoughts and attempt suicide than other kids. Undoubtedly, the extreme rhetoric and anti-LGBTQ+ laws made by the far-right has a terrible impact.

These right-wing extremists will not stop their relentless attacks against the LGTBTQ+ community and attempts to further hate in our country.

Every individual should be able to live without the fear of discrimination.

It is imperative that we stand up for the LGBTQ+ community right now. If you're with me, will you add to my petition to show your unwavering support for our LGBTQ+ peers and community members? [[link removed]]

Be well,
