This past week, Republican Dave Reichert entered the race for governor, and pundits are calling him “the most prominent Republican to campaign for the position in more than a decade.”

Here’s the truth: Reichert is an anti-choice extremist who voted in line with Trump 92.5% of the time when he was in the House. 

His vote to criminalize abortion is one that really stands out to me. As the only woman running for governor of either party, I am the only candidate who intimately and personally understands this issue. I know the physical, psychological, and emotional toll that extremist attacks on our bodily autonomy can have. Frankly, I won’t stand for it.
