“I’d always wanted a bigger family, with grandparents who lived nearby and cousins and aunts and uncles. My own family is about as tiny as they come. My mother was an only child, and my father had one sister who didn’t have kids,” admits Julia Williamson. So she was delighted to marry into a sprawling family. “When our marriage started to break down, I was happy to have my ex’s family so close. Somehow I thought this would make things easier.
