I’m sure you’ve seen the news, folks – my friend Jon Tester has an opponent in Montana… and the GOP has made this race personal.

Republicans are infuriated by my pal Jon because he’s been able to consistently win in a deep-red state. And while they’re befuddled by his success, it’s no surprise to me – every day in the Senate, he ignores the partisan noise and does whatever he can to deliver for our country and protect the Montana way of life.

That’s someone we need back in the Senate next year. But I have to take a second to make it clear just how crucial this race is. Experts are saying Montana could decide Senate control. There is no Democratic Senate majority without Jon Tester winning Montana.

Jon’s opponent was hand-picked by Mitch McConnell to flip Montana and we’re already seeing right-wing groups pour unprecedented amounts of money into the race to turn the state red. The GOP is tired of losing to Jon, so they’re going to put everything they’ve got into taking back this seat.
