Team — For 2 years in a row now, the Mississippi state house has refused to reinstate the use of voter-driven ballot measures — a punitive move after voters had passed a marijuana legalization measure in 2020.
Now, 72% of Mississippi voters want to see their ballot measure process reinstated, but conservative extremists in the state won’t let up because voters continue to use ballot measures to pass the lifechanging progressive policies voters want and need.
Not only is this a HUGE attack on democracy, but this move is in direct opposition to the will of Mississippi voters!!
So, team, we want to know if you agree with the majority of Mississippians:
Do you think Mississippi’s ballot measure process should be restored?
YES → [[link removed]] NO → [[link removed]]
Our team at the Fairness Project, alongside local advocacy groups, has been calling for state politicians to restore the fundamental right of direct democracy to Mississippi voters. But friend, we want to know where you stand on this issue:Do you think the Mississippi State Legislature's move to continue their ban on ballot measures is undemocratic?
YES → [[link removed]] NO → [[link removed]]Thanks, team!
