The victim of the house fire on Bainbridge Island on June 29, 2023, has been identified as: Charles J. Adolfson, a 93-year-old male with a Bainbridge Island address.

An autopsy was performed by Kitsap County?s Chief Medical Examiner, Doctor Lindsey Harle.

Cause of death is asphyxiation from smoke inhalation.? Manner is accident.
