Early voting in Ohio starts TOMORROW! This summer, Ohio voters will decide whether to change the threshold for amending the state’s constitution from a simple 50% majority to 60%.

This also marks one the first elections since a strict new voter ID law went into effect in Ohio earlier this year. That means we need to reach millions of Ohio voters to let them know that they need a specific form of voter ID when they go vote, and with early voting starting tomorrow, we need to work fast.

Will you chip in to support our efforts to help voters learn what ID they need to vote, and get an ID if they don’t already have one?

Ohio now has one of the strictest voter ID laws in the country. We estimate more than a million Ohio voters may not have an acceptable form of ID , and millions more may be confused about whether to bring an ID, and what form to bring.

VoteRiders is stepping up to help Ohio voters get the free ID help and information they need to cast a ballot that counts. But reaching millions of voters comes at a cost — we anticipate spending more than $15,000 ahead of the August 8 election to get the word out about the new voter ID law.

Help us cover these costs, John. Your tax-deductible donation will go directly to our organizers on the ground as they host Voter ID Clinics, textbanks, and letter writing parties; print Voter ID Information Cards; and work one-on-one with voters who need help getting an accepted form of voter ID. >> [link removed]
