Fight for $15
**************************
John,
Over 3,000 Starbucks workers at 150+ stores across the country went on strike last week.
Thousands of hotel workers are back on strike in L.A., and the writers' strike is entering its third month.
340,000 UPS workers are ready to go on strike if their demands aren't met.
The jobs are different but many of the issues are the same: workers are sick of being disrespected.
We're sick of getting paid less than what we deserve just so wealthy CEOs and their shareholders can pad their profits. We're sick of racist, bigoted systems that try to divide us, whether it's racist policies that keep Black and brown workers' wages low or homophobic and transphobic employers threatening to take away our healthcare if we unionize.
We need you there with us in solidarity, John. Tell us you're in >> sign up to volunteer with us. [[link removed]]
Hot Union Summer is here, and these corporations that thought they could exploit workers -- from Starbucks to UPS to Amazon to McDonald's -- are thinking twice.
There’s power in numbers. Just ask Starbucks: when we called out their bigotry during Pride Month, they backed down, issuing “clearer guidance” about Pride decorations.
When we fight -- together -- we win. That's why you've heard about strikes around the country. Workers are winning, and we'll keep going until they meet our demands: thriving wages, benefits and protections, and unions for ALL.
