Big news! Ayanna’s bill to fundamentally transform our credit reporting
system just passed the House!

The Comprehensive CREDIT Act of 2020 will create a credit reporting system
rooted in transparency, equity, and justice. The legislation will empower
consumers to take more control of their credit, will create specific
protections for people who fall behind or default on their student loans,
and will end predatory, misleading credit practices.

Ayanna is leading this fight for economic justice because, today, unfair
credit creation and reporting practices perpetuate inequities in housing,
employment, and economic mobility.

When credit reports determine where you can live, work and how much you
will have to pay for everything from a car to a college degree, consumers
deserve a system that ensures equity, transparency and accountability —
that’s what the Comprehensive CREDIT Act of 2020 is all about.

With your support, we’ll keep working ensure justice for all consumers,
and a credit reporting system that supports economic mobility, rather than
keeping people locked in cycles of debt.
