John, it’s Matt Cartwright — SEEC PAC Chair.

There’s a big, green elephant in our country right now: Our climate fight. And it’s past time we bring it to the front and center of our kitchen-table discussions.

UNITE FOR OUR CLIMATE FIGHT » [[link removed]]Recent studies out of Boston College have found that nearly two-thirds of Americans say they worry about global warming, and they support policies like a carbon tax or a 100 percent renewable energy mandate to combat it.

But those same studies have also found that despite this overwhelming support for climate forward policies, the vast majority of our country underestimates just how many Americans support aggressive climate action. And bad actors in Congress are leveraging this misconception to continue chiseling away at our pro-climate agenda.

John, when was the last time two-thirds of our nation agreed on… anything? These findings are a testament to the power of our climate fight — we just need to break the stigma surrounding these clean-energy conversations.

That’s why I’m personally asking for your support, John. Action in D.C. is critical — but so is generating the grassroots support we need to ensure anti-climate politicians can’t ignore our call for stronger environmental action. Help us continue spreading the word about our mission by pitching in $25, or whatever you can, so we can keep delivering for our climate. [[link removed]]

My colleagues and I are working every day in Congress to bring a megaphone to the environmental issues hurting working Americans. From passing clean energy tax credit incentives through the Inflation Reduction Act to curbing toxic carbon emissions and protecting our wildlife (and their at-risk habitats), we’re fighting for climate-forward policies that Americans can get behind.

When people feel alone in their beliefs, they’re less likely to take action. That’s just human nature. But by supporting SEEC PAC’s mission, you’re bolstering our community of climate-minded individuals and helping us bring our climate issues to the forefront of Congress. [[link removed]]
