While he repeated that he's not running for Senate, he made it clear that he thinks a Democrat can beat Steve Daines this November: "'From a personal perspective, I think Steve Daines is beatable,' Bullock said. 'He voted for a $2 trillion tax cut that went to him and my kids will be paying off. He tried to take away healthcare from people time and time again.'"

Governor Bullock went on to discuss Daines' votes against the Southwest Montana Veterans Home and concluded that Montanans could be better served in the U.S. Senate.
