This month I sat down with LGBTQ+ activists, elected officials, and local party members from across the state to talk about what Pride means to them and what we can all do to advocate for the LGBTQ+ community in Maine throughout the year. We’ve put together a video with some of the highlights from these conversations and I hope that you will take a minute to watch it!

While Pride is a time of celebration, it is also a protest. It has never been more important for us to celebrate visibly and protest openly for our rights, which are under attack each and every day from the far right. Even on the last day of Pride Month, the conservative activist justices on the Supreme Court handed down a decision sanctioning discrimination against same-sex couples.



We cannot go back.
