I want you to be the first to know that after many weeks of prayerful consideration with my wife and family, I am excited to announce that I am running for Congress in Michigan’s 7th District.

Last year, I challenged the incumbent Democrat and fell just short of winning in what became the most expensive congressional race in the nation. This year, the 7th will be key for Republicans to hold the House majority with the courts invalidating Republican districts in New York and Alabama. And this time, it is an open seat with the Democrat now running for U.S. Senate.

Americans are tired of inflation, high gas prices, out-of-control government spending, and the threats from China.

Along our southern border, we have a humanitarian and fentanyl crisis - I know because I’ve been there to see it first-hand. Our border patrol agents are outnumbered and outgunned and fentanyl is now the #1 killer of Americans aged 18-45.

Joe Biden has failed us at every turn.

I served 22 years in the U.S. Army, including the Iraq War, and deployments to Guantanamo Bay, Kuwait, and the Korean DMZ. I’ve logged more than 1,000 hours in some of the most advanced helicopters in the world.

In the Michigan Senate, I led the fight against giving taxpayer dollars to Chinese companies and global corporations, stood up for our veterans, and opposed government waste. I will do the same in Washington.

But I won’t be able to lead this fight without your support. We need to get off to a fast start and I’m hoping I can count on you for a donation in support of today’s announcement.

Any amount will help us start building the campaign war chest we are going to need. Last year, more than $40 million was spent in this one House seat. We need to be prepared - and that starts today.
