We Must Make Homeless People Get the Help They Deserve
Last week, the city of Dallas announced a new partnership with the White House, the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness and Housing Forward to boost local efforts to house the homeless.
The two-year partnership is being called All INside, part of a larger effort called All In: The Federal Strategic Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness. It was announced at a virtual event organized by the White House last week. The goal of All In is to reduce homelessness by 25% by 2025. Locally, Dallas’ Office of Homeless Solutions and Housing Forward will work with the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness and 19 other federal agencies for two years to help get people off the streets and into housing faster.

DFW Employers and Employees Are All on the Same Side
A labor group wants the Dallas City Council to help some Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport workers get increased wages and benefits.
That’s according to a briefing given by representatives of the Service Employees International Union in Texas at Monday’s Transportation and Infrastructure committee meeting.
