John,

Good evening and welcome to our Weekend Update.

First of all, I hope everyone had a happy 4th of July celebrating the birth of our nation.

This week, we attended some great events. First, I attended Lebanon County District Attorney Pier Hess Graf’s golf tournament at the beautiful Iron Valley Golf Course. I visited with State Senator Chris Gebhard, State Rep John Schlegel, Commissioner Mike Kuhn, my good friend Jonathan Byler, and many of Lebanon‘s finest law enforcement. Additionally, I had some great golf partners, Lebanon County Sheriff Jeff Marley and Lebanon County District Attorney's Office Chief Detective John Hess. It was a great well-attended event.

After that event, Senator Gebhard and I headed to a new Lebanon business, ASH Cigar. Great place, and I highly recommend it.

Today, we attended the annual Rally at the Rock, hosted by our great friend Bradford County Commissioner Doug McLinko. This is a must-attend event every year. (Pictured below with State Treasurer Stacy Garrity)

This year, we had a special guest call-in, President Donald Trump. He jumped at the opportunity to call my cell phone and speak with the great GOP faithful in Bradford County. He is as ready as ever to Make America Great Again.

It was great to see so many friends, and you can feel the energy building for the Republican Party for the fall and beyond. We must ensure we deliver important statewide judicial elections. We must elect State Supreme Court nominee Judge Carolyn Carluccio, Superior Court candidates Judge Harry Smail and Maria Battista, and Commonwealth Court candidate Megan Martin. They are an excellent slate of Republican candidates, and winning these critical positions on the court is paramount. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the importance of supporting our great county and local GOP candidates.

In addition to this year’s elections, anticipation and excitement are building for 2024 as well. We must get President Donald Trump back to the White House, win back control of the U.S. Senate, expand our majority in the U.S. House, re-elect State Treasurer Stacy Garrity, State Auditor General Tim DeFoor, win the Attorney General race, expand the majority in the State Senate and definitely win back control of the State House. Lots of work to do, and it all starts now!

Like many Americans, I am deeply frustrated with the Biden administration, and the hits keep on coming. There is a word the Biden administration continues to ignore – Trust. Everything they do erodes trust… in fact, they destroy it. Real patriotism is supporting your country… but only when it is deserved. When there is a lack of trust, like how many Americans feel about this White House, it is difficult to have faith in any of the actions of the Biden administration.

Shockingly, this week, a bag of cocaine was discovered in the West Wing of the White House.

What is stunning is the lengths to which the Biden administration has worked to deflect, obfuscate, and downplay this news. This is not a minor event. Cocaine was found in the White House, possibly the most secure building in the world, and the Biden administration wants us to just forget about it. Why?

Getting an answer from the Biden administration on where the cocaine was found in the West Wing and the circumstances surrounding the crime has been near impossible. In fact, we recently learned that the story of where the cocaine was found has changed – from an entrance trafficked by visitors to a “much more secure place, limited access place...near the Situation Room <[link removed]>.” See below, even MSNBC is asking questions.

How could the story change?

Another story broke this week detailing the close relationship existing between Derek Hines, an assistant U.S. attorney at the Department of Justice who worked on the Hunter Biden case, and the Biden family. This story is not getting the attention it deserves. Hines was one of the prosecutors to sign off on Hunter Biden’s recent sweetheart plea deal. Hines previously worked for former FBI Director Louis Freeh at his private company, Freeh Group International Solutions, which has extensive ties to the Biden family. Louis Freeh worked with Joe and Hunter Biden on a job consulting deal regarding the prosecution of Romanian real estate tycoon Gabriel Popoviciu. Popoviciu reportedly paid the Bidens at least $1 million for help with his case.

In April 2016, Freeh gave $100,000 to a trust for two of Joe Biden’s grandchildren. In 2016, Freeh responded to an email to Hunter Biden, “I also spoke to [Joe Biden] a few weeks ago and would like to explore with him some future work options. I believe that working together on these (and other legal) matters would be of value, fun and rewarding.” Freeh also was a board member of the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has essentially refused to answer any questions regarding Biden’s growing scandals. That is unacceptable. Americans deserve answers.

IN NEWS YOU WON’T HEAR IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA: Joe Biden has spent this week tweeting about “Bidenomics <[link removed]>.” Certainly, partly to deflect from the scandals that becoming public. Too bad his rhetoric doesn’t match reality.

Biden’s Rhetoric:

The Reality Of “Bidenomics”:

- Americans have lost over $10,000 <[link removed]> on average paying for the increased cost of living since Biden took office.

- Real weekly wages have fallen every month <[link removed]> since Biden and Democrats passed their wasteful $1.9 trillion “stimulus.”

- On average, Americans have lost over $2,250 <[link removed]> paying increased energy costs since Biden took office.

- Gas prices are up more than $1 per gallon <[link removed]> than when Biden took office

- Americans’ outlook on retirement is now at an 11-year low <[link removed]>, with one in four Americans <[link removed]> cutting back on retirement savings.

- Nearly 20 million households <[link removed]> are struggling to pay their utility bills.

- Biden raised the tax burden on people making as little as $20,000 annually <[link removed]>, breaking his campaign promise <[link removed]>.

Pay more, get less – that’s Bidenomics. Bidenomics seems to be only working for one family… the Bidens!

We look forward to catching up with you next week. God Bless, and see you soon,

Dan Meuser
