BAD NEWS: Our self-funded, multi-millionaire opponent in Maryland’s U.S.
Senate race has already spent roughly $2 MILLION on expensive TV ads.

WORSE NEWS: According to POLITICO, he’s further committed to spending
“tens of millions” of his own dollars to continue running TV ads and
boosting his statewide campaign.

EVEN WORSE NEWS: With the July 4th holiday falling smack dab in the middle
of the week and our supporters spending more time offline, we’re having
one of our slowest fundraising weeks when we can least afford it.

[ [link removed] ]So please, will you donate any amount toward our $5,000 Rapid Response
goal and help counter our opponent’s TV ads? We CANNOT afford to get
drowned out this early!

We knew it was going to be a major challenge facing off against an
opponent who has broken self-funding records by giving tens of millions to
his own congressional campaign.

But we didn’t expect him to launch expensive TV ads this early!

I know this isn’t the best timing. But how we respond right now could
decide the outcome of Maryland’s U.S. Senate race, folks.

[ [link removed] ]So please, if you’re able, would you chip in $15 or even $25 toward our
Rapid Response goal before midnight? We need to raise $5,000 ASAP if we
want to counter these ads and continue spreading our message into every
corner of Maryland.
