Jack, I am angry. Last week, the right-wing U.S. Supreme Court repealed affirmative action, canceled President Biden's student debt relief and upheld anti-gay bigotry. And last year, they overturned 50 years of case precedent on abortion rights.
And Donald Trump is dancing on our graves. He sent out a press release, taking credit for these rulings because of his three Court appointments. If that's not a reason for Democrats to expand the number of Supreme Court seats to provide balance, I don't know what is.
Sign the petition to Congress: The Supreme Court has been hijacked by right-wing extremists. We must expand the number of Supreme Court seats now.

Today’s Supreme Court does not honor its solemn duty to be the last line of defense in our democratic society. Instead, the ultra-conservative supermajority on the bench prioritizes corporate interests, ultra-wealthy donors, and hyper-partisan political outcomes.
But President Biden says that increasing the number of Supreme Court justices—which would dilute the power of extremists like Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Donald Trump's three appointees, and is way overdue (the number has been unchanged since 1869)—would politicize the court.
Democrats need to understand that the Supreme Court is already hopelessly politicized, and failing to expand the Court to bring some balance is foolish and dangerous.
Sign the petition to Congress: Donald Trump is trampling on our rights. We must pass legislation to expand the number of Supreme Court justices.
