STANDING UP FOR SENIORS. Last month, Kirsten introduced her bipartisan bill to end age discrimination in the workplace for older workers – and the AARP endorsed her efforts. As a member of the Senate Aging Committee, Kirsten has been at the forefront of fighting for seniors with her Master Plan on Aging and national paid family and medical leave (FAMILY Act) plan. 'By working to address the areas of greatest need for older adults and their caregivers, we can ensure a brighter future – not just for older adults, but also for our economy, our communities, and our world.' - Sen. KIRSTEN CELEBRATES PRIDE. Kirsten was thrilled to once again march in the New York City Pride March last month. Especially as far-right extremists continue to push a dangerous, hate-fueled agenda, Kirsten is relentless in her fight to protect marriage equality and defend LGBTQ+ rights.

KIRSTEN BRINGS HOME FEDERAL FUNDS. Kirsten recently announced that New York state will receive $23 million in federal funding to improve our airports, and another $14 million to expand broadband access in central New York and the North Country. She also announced $11 million in funding to support local Head Start programs, investing in the futures of our children.

AMERICANS SUPPORT KIRSTEN'S FAMILY ACT. According to new opinion research, by a 69-point margin, Americans overwhelmingly support Kirsten's Family and Medical Insurance Leave Act. This legislation would establish a national paid leave program for all Americans. It's popular across all party lines – including 77% of independents and 69% of Republicans.

ONE YEAR SINCE DOBBS V. JACKSON. On the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court's disastrous ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade, Kirsten urged Americans to never give up until we restore reproductive freedoms across the country.
