Dear Friend, 

This was a very special week for me. I had the chance to celebrate my birthday with my closest friends and supporters at the amazing Café Rubio in Corona. 

The birthday bash, which featured the all-woman salsa ensemble Lulada Club was a great chance to celebrate everything that we have accomplished this year. I am so grateful to everyone who came out and donated to our event. My co-hosts included a coalition of over 25 unions who work every day to rebuild a thriving middle class across our state.

Having labor in my corner means the world to me! They know that I am fighting every day for laws that give families a chance and make our city and state safer for workers.
