Elise also attended the ‘Best Fourth in the North’ Fourth of July celebration in Ticonderoga. Unfortunately, the parade did not step off due to a fire along the parade route. Elise shared her gratitude with the First Responders who heroically stepped up when the community was in need. Elise wrote:

This week, Elise put Joe Biden and his family on blast for not acknowledging Hunter Biden’s 4-year-old daughter, Navy Joan. Following a heated legal battle that concluded this week, Hunter Biden will have to play a role in his daughter’s life despite the lack of family connection from the time of her birth. The Biden White House has declined requests for comment on if the Biden family will acknowledge the seventh grandchild as their own. Read Elise's statement below:

Elise and NY Representatives Fight Back on NYC Pizza Ban
This week, Elise and fellow NY House Republicans penned a letter to radical NYC Mayor Eric Adams, stating the city's proposed policy on coal and wood-fired pizza ovens could end the ‘perfect slice’ that so many Americans love. Adams has discussed placing more restrictions on coal and wood-burning ovens in an effort to reduce climate change. These newly proposed policies would negatively affect New York Pizzeria’s by eliminating the ‘perfect New York slice’ and could lead to the closure of many treasured family pizzerias.
Elise Introduces Bill to Boost North Country Tourism
This week, Elise introduced bipartisan legislation to extend the amount of time Canadians who own or lease a home in the United States can visit by two months. Elise stated:
“Our neighbors to the north provide more visits to the United States than any other country, and they are critically important to North Country tourism and industry. Providing Canadians who own homes and property in the United States with extra time to visit and boost our economy will help revive Canadian tourism to the United States after an unprecedented closure of the Northern Border."
Elise Releases Statement on the Supreme Court Ruling that Biden Student Loan Bailout is Unconstitutional
House GOP Chairwoman Elise Stefanik stated:
“Today, the Supreme Court ruled in favor of our hard-working taxpayers who would have had to carry a tremendous financial burden because of the Biden Administration’s unconstitutional student loan bailout. Biden’s student loan scam would have cost American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars and placed a burden on the 100 million Americans who never went to college, while transferring wealth to those who willingly took on, and have yet to pay off, their debt. This decision is a victory for hard-working Americans, many of whom struggle to make ends meet and cannot afford to bear the weight of additional financial pressure in the midst of major economic hardship.”
