Picture this: a majestic bird strutting across sagebrush plains. A proud fluffy
chest and fancy tail feathers that fan out like sun rays. This is the Greater
sage-grouse, an iconic bird of the American West known for its unique courtship
dances.

But soon, the windswept prairies where this iconic bird lives could be STAINED
with grimy metallic machines and screeching sounds. Corporate polluters are SO CLOSE to successfully leasing this land to fracking for profit, DESTROYING public lands and critical habitats! The Department of Interior could CANCEL this lease sale, but we’re RUNNING OUT OF TIME! Protect public lands and critical wildlife habitat: send your message to the

The wastewater can POISON drinking water for nearby communities, sometimes even
containing RADIOACTIVE WASTE!

But there’s more. Fracking involves blasting high-pressure water into the ground, cracking the Earth, and creating unstable rocks. In some cases, it’s even been
known to trigger earthquakes!

Vulnerable wildlife. Severe health concerns for people. Potential earthquakes.
The DOI has more than enough reason to stop corporate polluters from fracking on
