If you tuned in to the late, great Rush Limbaugh’s show five years ago, you heard him say I was “an intrepid ‘guerrila journalist’ “whose undercover reporting has shown the light of truth on leftist organizations' slimy secrets.”
I can’t tell you how exciting and encouraging it was hear my hero say that to me!
Rush and I talked about how important it was to expose the bad guys … to bypass the lies and spin of the liberal media … and get the truth to the American people.
And we talked about the steep price I paid to do that – the attacks, smears, and lawsuits.
Well, the lawsuits haven’t stopped.
In fact, a new lawsuit has been filed against me by people I used to work with – people I wish only the best for.
Let me tell you, this new lawsuit is dangerous, and it could crush my investigative reporting.
The people who filed it don’t just want to beat me by a touchdown … they aim to smash me flat, and send me off the field on a stretcher.
I don’t know why they’re doing it … but they’re playing for keeps.
Fighting this lawsuit will be time consuming and extremely expensive. It may cost $500,000 or more.
But I remember what Rush told me in that interview:
“You're being attacked precisely because it's important enough to them to silence you. You're being attacked because you're effective, and I hope you continue it.”
