All of us here on Team Jeffries know that Hakeem's work to hold this administration accountable and make progress on the issues that matter most is only getting more intense.
But I want you to be the first to know that when the GOP fires off personal attacks against him, Hakeem doesn't let it bother him — it fires him up to work even harder.
The fact of the matter is: Hakeem still needs to be prepared for his next re-election. The GOP is working around the clock to seize the House majority, which has put a target on Hakeem's back.
We need the resources to drown out the GOP's smear campaign and show the critics that Hakeem is standing strong for us, despite all of their efforts to tear down his record.
