We recently hit our end-of-quarter fundraising deadline — and after looking at our fundraising numbers, it is clear that this is a grassroots powered campaign — our average contribution this last quarter was just $34, and 98% of our donations were under two hundred dollars.

Our campaign doesn’t take a dime from corporate PACs, so we rely on the grassroots support of everyday folks who give what they can to propel us forward. The overwhelming majority of our donations coming from grassroots supporters means that we have the strength of the people who have elected me to office to represent them — not corporate special interests.

When I first announced I was running for Senate, I knew I couldn’t do this alone. It was going to take building the largest grassroots movement in California history to take on this challenge.

And this team did not disappoint. From the very moment I announced my campaign, people across the country had my back.

Through Kevin McCarthy’s attacks.

Through the sham vote to censure me.

And though Donald Trump’s repeated threats. This team has been there with me the entire way — chipping in what you can and leading this campaign towards victory. I couldn’t be more grateful.

I’m determined to run this campaign the right way — fighting back against the baseless attacks from Donald Trump, Kevin McCarthy, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and the other MAGA extremists by showing a level of grassroots support that they could never imagine.
