<[link removed]>John,
After last week’s push to reach our end-of-quarter deadline, I decided to pause fundraising over the holiday weekend to truly celebrate our great country's birth.
The 4th of July holds a special place in my heart.
A celebration of the greatest country on Earth, this holiday symbolizes everything I fought for while in the Army and what I will continue fighting for in Congress – freedom, liberty, and independence.
But while true patriots were out celebrating America, D.C. Democrats continued to fundraise and launch attacks, helping them surge ahead at the start of the month.
I am calling on my army of grassroots patriots to help us close the gap so we can continue the fight to Save America from the radical Left.
Please make a contribution to help us close the fundraising gap after we paused fundraising over the 4th of July weekend. <[link removed]>

After graduating from West Point, I became an Apache helicopter pilot in the Army so that I could fight to defend this great country from our enemies.
In my immediate family, we have a combined 60 years of military service fighting to protect freedom.
We understand and value the importance of freedom and the opportunities this country provides – because only in America could the great-great-grandson of a slave become a member of Congress.
I ran for Congress so I could continue to serve my country and defend the freedom and liberty given to us on that July 4th so long ago.
But now we are under attack from a different enemy, the radical Left, as they try to destroy American values and the very foundation of this country.
I can promise you that I will NEVER stop fighting to Save America, but I need your help.
We can’t let the Left widen this fundraising gap and surge ahead to take back the House and destroy this country.
So please, make a contribution to help us close the fundraising gap after we paused fundraising over the 4th of July weekend. <[link removed]>
