Good Afternoon,

It was another busy week in Arizona celebrating our nation’s independence and meeting with constituents. I hope everyone had a great week! If you would like to share this newsletter with others, please direct them to this link and encourage them to subscribe.

Lesko Meets with Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

This week, I met with Garry Gobbato, a representative of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. It was an honor to meet with him and discuss the important work his organization is doing in fighting back against cystic fibrosis.

Lesko Meets with Center for Arizona Policy's Church Ambassador Network

This week, I was also blessed to meet with pastors from the Center for Arizona Policy's Church Ambassador Network. It was a privilege to pray with them and discuss the importance of faith in the future of Arizona and our great nation.

GET THE FACTS: Biden and Big Tech

This week, the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana ruled that top officials in the Biden Administration must stop engaging in certain activities with social media companies in violation of the First Amendment. The federal judge noted that this is, “the most massive attack against free speech in United States’ history,” and that the Biden Administration, “blatantly ignored the First Amendment’s right to free speech,” and that President Biden, “almost exclusively targeted conservative speech.” This level of suppression from the executive branch is unheard of and outrageous. This is exactly why my Republican colleagues in the U.S. House of Representatives and I continue to speak out about Big Tech censorship and the importance of Free Speech as one of the fundamental freedoms secured by the First Amendment.

Around the District

Monica from our office visited the Asociación de Empresarios Latinoamericanos (Association of Latin-American Businesses). They provide educational, leadership, and business development workshops as well as networking opportunities in the Phoenix metro area. We are proud to have them in our district!

Casework Highlight

A constituent reached out to our office after not receiving their full federal retirement from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in a timely manner. Our office contacted OPM, and inquired about the delay in their benefits. As a result, OPM awarded the constituent back pay as well as their full monthly recurring benefit.

Mobile Office Hours

Our office is hosting Mobile Office Hours on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Inspira at Arrowhead Community in Glendale, AZ from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM AZ Time. Our casework team is ready to answer your questions and assist you with federal agencies.
