John,

The National Post ran a very revealing article <[link removed]> this week by pro-Conservative columnist John Ivison entitled “As immigration doubts grow, Poilievre keeps the faith.”

What faith is he talking about? The faith in mass immigration!

Ivison observes that more and more people agree that mass immigration is creating a lot of problems, such as the housing crisis, and that there are growing calls from policy experts for the Trudeau government to re-examine its massive targets.

Of course, we in the PPC were called racists by the establishment for saying exactly this years ago!

Ivison even acknowledges that a large proportion of Canadians, in particular Conservative supporters, would agree with me on this issue.

Quote: “Bernier will have noted that recent public opinion polls suggest around 40 per cent of respondents think the Trudeau government’s immigration targets — 500,000 permanent newcomers in 2025 — are too high. He will also be aware that Conservative voters are most concerned that immigration is a burden, not a benefit.”

But despite all of this, he is pleased that Poilievre “has not pandered to his political base” on this issue!

As he writes, Poilievre and his party’s immigration critic Tom Kmiec not only do not criticize Trudeau for accepting too many immigrants, they criticize him for not accepting them fast enough!

And why does Poilievre support such a destructive policy, that even his base disagrees with?

“Poilievre’s reasons are not that hard to fathom,” writes Ivison. He “is competing for the support of the votes of many recent immigrants to Canada in the suburbs around the big cities. Not surprisingly, they are very keen on maintaining high family reunification numbers.”

So there you have it! Poilievre is betraying his base concerned about mass immigration in order to compete with the Liberals and NDP for the votes of immigrants who want to bring their extended family to Canada.

This is so incredibly irresponsible and opportunistic!

John, there is only one alternative for those who want reasonable and sustainable immigration: the PPC.

It’s important that all Conservative supporters know about this.

They’ll get more mass immigration with Poilievre. But many of them don’t even seem to be aware of it.

Send this message to a family member, a friend, or a colleague, who you know is skeptical of mass immigration but still supports Poilievre.

This issue is crucial for Canada’s future.

The PPC wants reasonable and sustainable immigration, so that immigrants integrate into our society instead of creating parallel societies and ghettos.

We don’t want our country to end up suffering the balkanization and social disintegration that some European countries like France are experiencing today.

John, if you agree with this important policy, help us fight for it with a $5 donation today! <[link removed]>

-Max
