Making progress isn’t quick and easy, John.

It’s a long journey that requires patience, perseverance and passion. Movements don’t happen overnight, and especially not by just a couple of people working loosely together.

With the race for IL-14 heating up (we have four Republican contenders) — we really need to ramp up our reelection campaign to ensure Lauren can continue working for the people in Congress — and in order to defend Lauren’s seat and take back the House Democratic majority, we’ll need a unified grassroots team backing us.

At this point in the month, we should be about 26% of the way to our July target on email fundraising, but we’re falling a bit short. If we can raise $2,546 from this email, we’ll be back on track.
