When people tell Elizabeth Warren that something just isn't possible, she proves them wrong.

When Elizabeth started working to create a consumer agency, people said she would never get it past the big banks and their allies in Congress. But she took them on, and she beat them.

When, in her first campaign for Senate, she started 17 points down against a popular incumbent Republican, people told her she was going to lose. She took him on, and she beat him.

And shortly after she released one of her first plans during her presidential campaign — to crack down on wealthy corporations that weren't paying any federal income taxes — critics said that it was pie-in-the-sky. But she kept pushing for it, defied the naysayers, defeated corporate lobbyists, and passed a new tax on massive corporate profits.
