John, our opponent Lee Zeldin is one of the eight House Republicans recently named to Trump's "impeachment team" -- a group whose job it is to spread misinformation on TV about the President and the evidence against him.

Of these members, Zeldin is the ONLY one in a seat that's highly competitive in 2020.

While others like Jim Jordan, John Ratcliffe, and Doug Collins won by landslide margins of 30% or more in 2018, Zeldin survived by only 4%. As a Democrat with strong local ties and a compelling story as a scientist and teacher, Nancy has a real chance to win this swing district.

Rush a contribution now so we have the resources to take advantage of this opportunity to beat one of Trump's most visible public defenders. We still need $3,200 more by tomorrow to make our end-of-month goal.

In return for his loyalty and willingness to lie for the President, Zeldin has gotten access to the vast Trump fundraising network. Donald Trump Jr. even joined him for a recent fundraiser that brought in over $200,000.

If we're going to win, we'll need to continue giving Nancy steady grassroots support. Our average online donation has been $25 in January -- and if 100 people each donate that amount (or more!) by tomorrow, we'll easily cross our goal.
