John,

The principles of federalism are at the very heart of our nation's constitution, which seeks to strike a balance between local, state, and federal government powers. This is not just a question of how your taxpayer dollars are spent, but also who ultimately gets to govern your life.

In the vast majority of cases, I believe in the power of the 10th Amendment: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people”. This foundational principle is more important now than ever before, as we seek to address the unique needs of our constituents here in Ohio.

I steadfastly maintain that local and state governments should have the prerogative to make decisions that directly affect their citizens. It's easier to knock on your mayor's door than the President's. This belief embodies the heart of localism and decentralization - principles that I will champion when elected to Congress.

I am committed to protecting our Constitutional rights and my focus is on reinvigorating the rightful power of local and state authorities. Ohio's communities deserve to have their voices heard and their needs catered to, without unnecessary federal interference.

John, your support is crucial in my efforts to promote this principle of localized governance in Congress. Every dollar contributed to my campaign represents our collective fight to respect and bolster the power of local authorities, and in doing so, protect the rights and liberties of our citizens.
