Over the past few years, a handful of campaign announcement videos have gone viral, catapulting first-time candidates into the national conversation.

Well, I saw a video today that blew me away. And so I want you to watch it, and then help this transformational candidate who is going to help us take the Senate back from the grip of Mitch McConnell.

Today, Reverend Raphael Warnock announced his campaign for U.S. Senate from Georgia. He’s been a fantastic leader in Georgia — serving as senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, the former pulpit of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

He will fight for working families and be a strong ally dedicated to our shared values in the Senate.

I want to make sure he gets off to a strong start today, so I’m asking for your help:

Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans have fallen right in line with Donald Trump on nearly every issue.

Our democracy has never been more at risk. It is crumbling underneath our feet right now, and it is up to all of us to do everything we can to save it.

One of the best ways we can do that is by making sure Democrats take back the Senate this year. If we win this race in Georgia, I have no doubt that we will do just that.

But it won’t be easy. Raphael Warnock’s opponent was just appointed to this seat, and she’s already pledged to spend $20 million from her personal wealth to try to keep it.

So it is our job to make sure he can compete with that kind of spending.
