Victor Avila is a former Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Supervisory Special Agent. With over two decades of experience in law enforcement, Victor has led criminal investigations to take down drug smugglers and human traffickers. He also served as a US Diplomat advising foreign governments on countering drug cartels and organized crime abroad. Since retiring, Victor authored Agent Under Fire: A Murder and a Manifesto , in addition to setting the world record for longest handgun shot. Victor is a first-generation American who was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.
